Under the umbrella of the Fédération des francophones de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador (FFTNL), the Newfoundland and Labrador French Justice Network is dedicated to the overarching goal of obtaining legal services in French for the Francophone and Acadian community of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Our mission

In order to improve the provision of legal services in French, the RJFTNL contributes to community awareness and engagement, and provides strategic advice to its partners on the planning, organisation and integration of quality justice services.

Our vision

The RJFTNL contributes to full access to the justice system in French and aims to provide high-quality legal information in French that meets the needs of the Francophone community.

Our actions

participate in educational activities for young people on the subject of justice
participate in awareness-raising activities for adults on their rights in relation to justice
make available and maintain a 24/7 directory of legal professionals able to practise in French in Newfoundland and Labrador
raise awareness among legal professionals in Newfoundland and Labrador of the importance of being able to practise their profession in French
