Created in 2018, Accueil francophone TNL is an outreach service focused on helping French-speaking newcomers settle in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It focuses on developing lasting relationships and social inclusion in French, one of Canada's two official languages.
The activities organized by Accueil francophone TNL encourage intercultural exchanges and the creation of close ties between French-speaking newcomers and society as a whole. Through its work and involvement, Compas fosters the development of more stable and lasting relationships, as well as the successful integration of French-speaking newcomers.
Ultimately, Accueil francophone TNL promotes the retention of immigrants in Newfoundland and Labrador, a province that recognizes the contribution of French-speaking immigrants to the community and values the richness of Canada's cultural diversity.
